About Marty Denny, MD

Dolph (Marty) Denny, MD, FACC, is an interventional cardiologist in Frankfort, Kentucky.

Dr. Denny earned his medical degree from the Indiana School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana. He completed both his residency in internal medicine and his fellowship in cardiology from the University of Louisville, in Louisville, KY.

Dr. Denny is board-certified in both cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He’s is an active member and Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Intervention, as well as an active member of the American Heart Association (Past President, Louisville Chapter) and the Kentucky Medical Association. Dr. Denny is an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Louisville.

Dr. Denny specializes in cardiac catheterization and stent placement in patients who have critical blockages in their heart arteries. He performs a wide variety of non-invasive cardiac testing including stress tests, echocardiograms, cardiac rhythm monitoring, and follow-up of pacemakers and implantable defibrillators. Dr. Denny also assesses patients for their risk of having a heart attack and treats heart attack risk factors such as high cholesterol and high blood pressure.
